Thursday November 18, 2004 Lynn Mackay, Senior Technical Training Specialist from the SAS Institute, gave two half-day training sessions at the SAS Institute Cincinnati Training Office in Blue Ash.  The morning session covered basic SAS concepts and the afternoon session covered SQL processing.  Tuition was $100 per session.

Dr. Alex Dmitrienko from Eli Lilly and Company discussed a new book that he co-authored titled "Analysis of Clinical Trials Using SAS: A Practical Guide."  He also described a relatively new SAS product, the "SAS Enterprise Guide for SAS Users."  To view abstract, Click Here.

Jon Patton, Research Consultant at Miami University in Oxford, discussed the "Development of Automated Test Scoring Using the SAS System."

Jon is currently a Senior Research Consultant and an adjunct professor at Miami University in Oxford, OH and has been a SAS user for 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio State University, an M.A. in Mathematics from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and a M.S in Industrial Engineering and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Purdue University. He currently is using SAS to analyze time-related changes in the Turkish language.
