Kirk Paul Lafler; Senior
Consultant, Trainer, Author
Kirk Paul Lafler is the author of several SAS
books, numerous SAS articles and a popular SAS speaker. In March 2007,
he presented a half
day class on Proc SQL to CinSUG members at P&G in Mason, Ohio.
Kirk will return to CinSUG and Cincinnati on Thursday and Friday, January
29-30, 2009. This two day event will be held at
dunnhumby USA Training Facility
302 W. 3rd Street; Suite 300; Cincinnati, OH 45202
General Meeting - Thursday January 29 at 1:00pm:
Kirk will present two talks at our first 2009 meeting: Advanced SAS
Programming Techniques (1:15pm) and SAS Performance Tuning (2:15pm).
Refreshments will be provided, courtesy of dunnhumby. Sign-in and
Registration will begin at 1:00pm. The talks will begin promptly at
1:15pm and 2:15pm. The meeting will adjourn at 3:30pm.
SAS Training - Friday January 30:
Kirk will give
a morning course on Proc SQL and an afternoon course on SAS Macro
Programming. Because dunnhumby is providing the training room,
Kirk is offering both courses at the reduced rate of $99 each.

CinSUG Officers for 2008-2009
The officers were elected at the Summer Meeting of
the Cincinnati SASŪ Users Group on
August 6, 2008. For meeting
details, please see the Past Events page. We thank
Procter &
Gamble for providing the meeting room and refreshments and The
Normandy Group for providing door prizes.
CinSUG
membership is now free to all.
If anyone you know was interested in joining CinSUG, but chose not to
due to the expense, please forward this information to them. To
join, just come to our next meeting or add your name to the
CinSUG
Listserv.
The Southwest Ohio
Data Management Association (DAMA) provides education about matters
of data management, including Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing,
Information/Data Resource Management and Enterprise IT Architecture.
SAS is a prime tool for many of the areas covered by DAMA. We will post
information from DAMA that may be of interest to SAS users.
Cincinnati
Chapter of the American Statistical Association Encourages the use and
appreciation of statistics and promotes its proper application in all fields of
study. Strives to facilitate interaction among all persons in the greater
Cincinnati area who have an interest in or are concerned with the field of
statistics.
